1207 GMT - The strong momentum built up by Stantec in the fourth quarter seems to be carrying on into 2025. In a TD Cowen report, Michael Tupholme says 4Q adjusted EPS and guidance for 2025 were notably above consensus, while Ebitda was only slightly above consensus and guidance was essentially in line. Revenue growth is seen in the 7%-10% range, with the 8.5% midpoint just ahead of consensus expectations of 8.3%. Stantec calls for organic net revenue growth in the "mid-to-high single digits" range, which compares with consensus at of 6.9%. "Stantec's 4Q results exhibited solid growth, backlog reached a new record, and 2025 guidance implies another strong year," Tupholme says. This supports his constructive stance on the professional consulting services company. (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
