Buxton Resources (ASX:BUX) said that an updated mineral resource estimate at its Graphite Bull project in Western Australia increased contained graphite by 345% to 2.25 million tonnes at a 7% total graphitic carbon cut-off, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Around 40% of the total resource is now classified as indicated resources, the filing added.
The total resources are now 20.7 million tonnes at 10.8% TGC.
It is currently conducting downstream qualification test work on Graphite Bull ore and flake.
The firm's shares rose 6% on market close on Monday.
