Check Point Software Technologies (CHKP) said Tuesday it partnered with cloud security provider Wiz to address the challenges of securing hybrid cloud environments.
The company said the collaboration bridges the gap between cloud network security and Cloud Native Application Protection through deep technological integration and a strategic business alliance.
Under the partnership, the company said it will provide customers with unified security insights by integrating its cloud network security controls within Wiz's Cloud Native Application Protection, as well as provide enhanced risk context, and actionable recommendations.
Wiz's advanced risk analysis integrates directly into Check Point's platform, enabling better prioritization of unsecured assets and optimized security operations, it added.
Check Point said it plans to reallocate resources and invest further in its cloud security business, including cloud network security, web application firewalls, and generative AI.
