Traders largely shrug off Trump's new 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum, which have been priced in preemptively since several months ago, according to Kiwoom Securities. Hyundai Steel is flat. Corporate earnings are back in focus. Howitzer and aircraft-engine maker Hanwha Aerospace climbs 13% after strong 4Q results. Its sibling shipbuilder Hanwha Ocean rises 4.0%.
