CAR Group (ASX:CAR) reported Monday fiscal half-year earnings of AU$0.327 per diluted share, up from AU$0.31 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected AU$0.402 per diluted share.
Adjusted earnings per share was AU$0.47, up from AU$0.432 a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected AU$0.482.
Revenue from continuing operations for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2024, rose over 9% to AU$579.4 million from AU$531 million. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected AU$562.2 million.
The board declared a dividend of AU$0.385 per share payable on April 14 to shareholders of record as of March 17, down from the AU$0.345 payout in the previously reported period.
