New World Development (HKG:0017) increased the prices for a batch of units in its State Pavilia project on Hong Kong Island as demand surged, South China Morning Post reported Tuesday.
NWD priced 39 units between HK$6.4 million and HK$20.4 million after discounts, or between HK$16,888 and HK$28,088 per square foot, according to the report.
The cheapest apartment is priced 0.5% higher, the report said.
More than 4,800 buyers wrote checks for 168 units on the project as of Tuesday evening, according to the SCMP.
The project has 388 units on offer, the report said.
