Beacon Minerals Obtains Drilling Approvals for Lady Ida Iguana Project in Western Australia; Shares Down 4%

Beacon Minerals (ASX:BCN) obtained approvals from the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety for a number of its drilling programs, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

This includes permits to start drilling activities at the Lady Ida Iguana project in Western Australia, as well as the Black Cat South pit and the Mt Dimer Thunder target area, per the filing.

The mineral explorer expects to have two rigs working over the next three months.

Beacon Minerals' shares were down nearly 4% in recent Wednesday trade.
