KALiNA Power's (ASX:KPO) Canadian subsidiary, KALiNA Distributed Power, entered into a multi-year agreement with Crusoe for the joint development of the latter's artificial intelligence data center projects co-sited with the company's 170-megawatt natural gas power plants in Canada, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The agreement outlines support for the establishment of Crusoe's data center footprint in Alberta by utilizing the company's near-zero-emissions power under a contracting arrangement that aligns with the province's self-supply requirements, the filing said.
Each potential project will be developed under a separate agreement as a Crusoe-owned and operated data center contracting for power with an adjacent KALiNA-owned and operated plant, per the filing.
KALiNA Power shares were up 11% in recent trade Wednesday.
