ES Group (SGX:5RC) expects to book a net profit for the year ended Dec. 31, 2024, compared to a net loss a year earlier, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Thursday.
The shipbuilder has attributed this to a one-off income from insurance claims for the breakdown of its vessel, ES Jewel, and an improvement in gross profit from the new building and repair segment.
The company will release details of its financial performance on or before March 1.
