Pure Hydrogen (ASX:PH2) said that Pure Haul filed a claim against the firm alleging repudiation of a contract, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Pure Hydrogen contracted Pure Haul to transport volumes of hydrogen to support some of its customers, the filing said.
Pure Haul is claiming damages from the termination of the contract in the total amount of AU$8.1 million, the filing added.
The firm said it considers the claim to be "entirely without merit" and plans to "vigorously defend the matter." It added that the amount of claim is at odds with the value of the contracted terms and it is of the belief that any amount owing is immaterial.
Pure Hydrogen is considering a counterclaim against Pure Haul, per the filing.
Its shares fell over 3% on market close on Wednesday.
