Cobre (ASX:CBE) said assay results from drilling at its Ngami copper project in Botswana show potential for high-grade discoveries along strike from known mineralization, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The drilling intersected intercepts of 20.05 meters at 0.85% copper and 19.6 grams per tonne grade of silver from 145.77 meters, as well as 26.5 meters at 0.55% copper and 12.2 g/t silver from 164.3 meters.
It is currently conducting infill drilling on the target.
The firm's shares rose 4% in recent trade on Monday.
