NCR Voyix said its NCR Government Systems was chosen by the Defense Commissary Agency, which oversees 240 commissaries, or grocery and household goods stores, as the maintenance and operations services provider for their point-of-sale technology assets.
The digital commerce technology company said it will provide sustainment of existing maintenance of DeCA technology in a contract with a lifecycle value of $335 million over five years.
NCR Voyix said the contract was awarded after the evaluation of five competitive proposals.
The new contract calls for NCR Voyix with the servicing of hardware and software across the global base of military facilities, including the support of certain software functions such as catalog, ordering, receiving, pricing and point of sale.
