Feb 3 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Monday, with futures FFIc1 down 1.3%.

* TALOS: Talos Energy TALO.N is poised to name veteran Shell SHEL.L executive Paul Goodfellow as its next CEO, two people familiar with the matter said on Sunday.

* WEINSTEIN: U.S. activist investor Boaz Weinstein may have suffered a defeat in the first vote on his plans to shake up Britain's investment trust industry, but bosses in sector will not be sleeping easy.

* UNILEVER: Unilever ULVR.L is evaluating options, including a New York listing, for its ice cream business, Bloomberg News reported on Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

* OIL: Oil prices jumped on Monday after U.S. President Donald Trump imposed tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China, raising fears of crude supply disruption from two of the biggest suppliers to the U.S.

* METALS: Most base metals in London dipped on Monday, with copper hitting its lowest in four weeks, as U.S. President Donald Trump's 10% tariff on imports from top metals consumer China fuelled trade war concerns.

* GOLD: Gold prices fell nearly 1% on Monday after rising to an all-time high in the previous session, as the U.S. dollar strengthened on mounting fears of a global trade war.

* FTSE 100: Britain's benchmark share index closed at a record high on Friday and logged its best month in more than two years, while investors prepared for the Bank of England's rate decision next week.
