Talos Energy has tapped an executive vice president of the London-based energy giant Shell to be its next chief executive.
The energy company said Monday that Paul Goodfellow will take the top role and join its board on March 1.
Goodfellow has been with Shell since 1991 and currently serves as group chief internal auditor.
Joseph Mills had been serving as interim CEO of Talos until last month, when he resigned to pursue other opportunities. Mills had stepped in following the departure of co-founder Tim Duncan as CEO in August.
