GE Healthcare Allocates $138 Million for Expansion of Cork, Ireland Manufacturing Plant

GE Healthcare Technologies (GEHC) said Friday it will invest $138 million to expand its manufacturing facility in Cork, Ireland.

The investment, which will fund the creation of a new 3,000-square-meter facility, will boost the capacity of the plant by 25 million patient doses per year of contrast media by year-end 2027, the company said.

Construction is expected to begin in February.
