Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) reports further exceptional high-grade gold intercepts from its Boundiali gold project in the Ivory Coast, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
An exploration diamond drilling program, consisting of 17 holes for 4,550 meters, targeted multiple prospects and returned shallow, wide, and high-grade gold intercepts.
This includes intercepts of 1 meter at 150.5 grams per tonne grade of gold within three meters at 50.56 g/t grade of gold from a depth of 124 meters as well as two meters at 63.55 g/t grade of gold from a depth of 111 meters.
It is now planning a 100,000-meter diamond drilling program at the project. It plans to deliver two mineral resource estimates for the project in the year.
The firm's shares slid 2% in recent trading on Thursday.
