Infini Resources (ASX:I88) started diamond drilling at the Portland Creek project in Canada, with the first phase targeting a high-grade uranium discovery, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The first priority hole is planned to be drilled to a depth of 600 meters, testing a peak 74,997 parts per million uranium soil anomaly, the filing said.
The program is expected to take six to eight weeks to complete, according to the filing.
Shares rose more than 3% in midday trade Thursday.
