Applied Industrial Technologies Raises Dividend by 24%

Applied Industrial Technologies' board has raised the company's quarterly dividend by 24%, to 46 cents from 37 cents.

The new payout, equal to $1.84 a year, represents an annual yield of about 0.73% based on Tuesday's closing price of $252.22, up from 0.59%.

The Cleveland maker and distributer of industrial parts and products on Wednesday said the increased dividend is payable Feb. 28 to shareholders of record Feb. 15.
