Plexus (PLXS) reported fiscal Q1 non-GAAP earnings Wednesday of $1.73 per diluted share, up from $1.23 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.59.
Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 28 was $976.1 million, down from $982.6 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $981.9 million.
Plexus said it expects fiscal Q2 non-GAAP EPS to be between $1.46 and $1.61 on revenue of $960 million to $1.00 billion.
Analysts expect $1.60 and $1.02 billion, respectively.
The shares were falling more than 6% in after-hours trading.
