Virco Manufacturing Rises on $10 Million Buyback

Shares of Virco Manufacturing climbed after the maker of movable furniture and equipment said it would buy back $10 million worth of stock.

The stock was up 12%, at $11.27, in late Tuesday morning trading. Shares were around $11.42 this time a year ago.

The Torrance, Calif., company said its board has approved a new share-repurchase program for up to $10 million in common stock.

The program will start on Feb. 1 and has no time limit.
