1824 ET - Masimo has delivered a satisfying conclusion to the search of a successor to former CEO Joe Kiani with the appointment of Katie Szyman to the top job as the company transitions back to a pure-play healthcare company, BTIG analysts say in a research note. "We are pleased by this announcement as we believe that Ms. Szyman is a strong fit," the analysts say, adding that they believe the transition will be "seamless" due to similar call points inside the hospital and a razor/razorblade business model.
