Iluka Resources (ASX:ILU) produced 129,000 tonnes of zircon/rutile/synthetic rutile in the fourth quarter of 2024, up from 104,600 tonnes a year earlier, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Sales rose to 136,300 tonnes from 134,400 tonnes year on year. Mineral sands revenue fell to AU$290 million from AU$305 million.
For the full year, the company produced 496,200 tonnes of zircon/rutile/synthetic rutile, down over 22% from 639,200 a year earlier but ahead of its guidance of 455,000 tonnes.
Sales volume fell 3.8% to 475,200 tonnes from 494,000 tonnes. Mineral sands revenue declined 8.9% to AU$1.13 billion from AU$1.24 billion.
Company shares fell 8% in recent trade.
