Dow Jones
18 Jan

1228 ET - Boot Barn's fourth-quarter to date comparable sales growth update shows slight acceleration from the prior quarter, UBS analysts say in a research note. The market likely has similar views on the lifestyle retail chain, the analysts say, adding that they don't have a strong view on how the next two weeks will play out for the company. Overall, the analysts believe sentiment around Boot Barn is mixed. There are concerns around tariff risk from in incoming Trump administration given that the company has 30% sourcing exposure to China and 25% to Mexico, as well as potential execution risk amid the CEO transition, the analysts say. Shares rise 5.2% to $161.30. (sabela.ojea@wsj.com; @sabelaojeaguix)
