Surana Telecom and Power (NSE:SURANAT&P, BOM:517530) has secured a letter of award for an order worth 1.90 billion Indian rupees from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co., according to a Friday filing to the stock exchanges.
The contract is for developing solar photovoltaic power generating stations of an aggregate capacity of 54 MW (AC) in Maharashtra, India.
The project will be commissioned within 18 months from the letter of award, and the contract period will be 25 years from the date of commissioning of the projects.
