Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) said it is awaiting assay results at its Rogozna gold project in Serbia and modeling drill data from its Yandal gold project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The final assays are expected for five holes at the high-grade Gradina deposit by the end of January and results for two exploration holes completed at the Jezerska Reka and Obradov Potok targets are expected in early February.

The final holes of the 2024 drilling campaign at the Serbian project were completed in mid-December and the final assays are expected to be released for the Shanac and Medenovac deposits next week.

It is planning to complete its first mineral resource estimate for Medenovac in February as well as an updated resource estimate for Shanac in March.

An updated mineral resource estimate is also on track for completion in March.

The firm's shares rose 2% on market close.
