Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) confirmed gold mineralization in two new prospect areas at its Whiteheads project in Western Australia through air-core drilling, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Sixty-seven holes were drilled for 2,412 meters, with results including 4 meters at 4.5 grams per tonne of gold from the surface and 2 meters at 1.9 grams per tonne of gold from 28 meters to the end of the hole, the filing said.
The sale of the project to Great Western Gold is expected to be completed in the first half of the year, according to the filing.
