Zumiez Shares Fall After Lowered Fiscal Q4 Guidance

Zumiez (ZUMZ) shares were down 12% in recent Monday trading after the company lowered its fiscal Q4 guidance.

The specialty retailer said it expects Q4 earnings per share to range from $0.72 to $0.77, down from the prior guidance of $0.83 to $0.93. It also expects Q4 net sales to range between $275 million and $277 million, down from a previously projected range of $284 million to $288 million.

Analysts polled by FactSet expect EPS of $0.88 and revenue of $285.5 million.

Zumiez also said its comparable sales rose 5.6% year-over-year during the nine weeks that ended Jan. 4, compared to the same period ending Jan. 6, 2024.
