Pointerra (ASX:3DP) received a $2 million contract extension from the US Department of Energy to continue its hurricane impact analysis program, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The extension boosts Pointerra's exposure and validation of the use of its Pointerra3D product to evaluate the impact of hurricane response activities in the US electric utility sector.
The program, set to conclude by Dec. 31, will be delivered on a milestone completion basis.
Shares of the company rose past 4% in recent Monday trade.
