Northern Minerals (ASX:NTU) reported an increase of 15% in total resources to 7.3 million tonnes at 0.96% total rare earth oxides for 70,500 tonnes of contained metal at the Wolverine deposit at its Brown Range heavy rare earth elements project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The updated estimate came after the completion of an infill program across the deposit from 2022 to 2024, comprising 58 diamond holes for 23,286 meters.
The proportion of the resource estimate in the measured and indicated categories shifted to 5 million tonnes at 1.13% total rare earth oxides for 55,400 tonnes of contained metal tonnes, an increase of 75%
compared with the 2022 estimate.
