Evergreen Lithium (ASX:EG1) said its 2024 work program at the Bynoe project in the Northern Territory confirmed the potential presence of lithium and gold, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Reverse circulation drilling of lithium air-core targets confirmed the presence of lithium-cesium-tantalum pegmatites, the filing said. Field activities also identified large areas prospective for gold mineralization.
The work included geological mapping, rock chip sampling, auger sampling, air core and reverse circulation drilling.
The company is awaiting assay results to further validate the presence of gold, the filing said.
The company's shares were up nearly 19% at market close Wednesday.
