Gencor Industries (GENC) said Friday it received an NYSE American non-compliance notification on Jan. 3 due to its failure to submit its Form 10-K annual report.
The company said it failed to comply with the NYSE American's listing requirements as it failed to file its Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended Sept. 30 with the Securities and Exchange Commission by Dec. 31.
Gencor Industries said it was granted 180 days to regain compliance and could be given another six months if it's unable to submit the form within the initial six months.
The maker of construction industry equipment said it expects to file within the initial six-month window.
Gencor Industries' shares were down 4.3% in recent trading.
