AEON Mall's (TYO:8905) profit attributable to owners of the parent dropped 16.5% to 12.3 billion yen in the fiscal third quarter ended Nov. 30, 2024, from 14.7 billion yen a year ago.
The company's earnings per share (EPS) fell to 53.95 yen from 64.63 yen a year ago, according to a Thursday filing.
Revenue, however, gained 6% year on year to 332.7 billion yen from 313.9 billion yen.
It forecasted attributable profit to fall 19.1% to 16.5 billion yen or 72.50 yen per share and revenue to gain 7.2% to 453.5 billion yen for the fiscal year ending Feb. 28, 2025.
The company expects to pay a year-end dividend of 25 yen per share for the current fiscal year.
AEON Mall's shares shed nearly 5% at market close.
