Woori Financial Group's (KRX:316140) Woori Bank plans to open a trading center in London in June, with an aim to diversify revenue streams and adapt to the ever-changing financial markets around the world, The Korea Herald reported Wednesday.
The center, building on its London FX Desk launched last July, will focus on foreign exchange trading, securities, derivatives, and risk management, the report said.
A task force was established this month to expedite the project, aiming to leverage London's financial market for asset management and global expansion, it said.
