Everspin Technologies appointed William Cooper to its top finance role, effective Jan. 6.
The company, a maker of magnetoresistive random access memory, or MRAM, persistent memory solutions, said Wednesday that Cooper will help drive growth by expanding its operations.
Cooper succeeds Matthew Tenorio, who has served as interim financial chief since July when Anuj Aggarwal stepped down from the role to pursue other opportunities.
Cooper most recently served as Advanced Micro Devices' director of financial planning and analysis. Prior to his time at AMD, during which he held a variety of roles, Cooper worked at companies including data-cable maker Volex and accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, according to Everspin.
