Amazon.com's (AMZN) Ring home security unit has partnered with Kidde to create smoke and carbon monoxide detectors that connect with the Ring app, Kidde said Monday.
The devices will be available in April, along with a new service for $5 per month, giving users access to professional representatives who watch for smoke and carbon monoxide alerts, the company said.
The monitoring service works with the new Kidde detectors and Ring's existing Alarm Smoke & CO Listener.
