E.W. Scripps said it has expanded an affiliation deal with NBC that covers 11 television stations across the country.
The broadcaster said Monday that the new multiyear affiliation agreement extends a decades-long partnership with NBC that provides viewers with local news, weather alerts and community coverage.
Scripps didn't provide the financial terms of the deal.
The Cincinnati-based company renewed its affiliation agreement with CBS last fall.
Scripps shares were up 3.2% at $2.58 in late-morning trading.
