Pod Point Group said EDF-nominated nonexecutive Director Philippe Commaret is stepping down from the board due to other business commitments.
The electric-vehicle charging company said Tuesday that EDF Energy Customers, a U.K. arm of state-owned utility Electricite de France, doesn't plan to replace Commaret, who will step down on Jan. 10. Rob Guyler remains on the board as an EDF nominee.
"The group is working hard to deliver against our strategic plan and financial targets, and the board remains confident in the group's future," Pod Point Chair Andy Palmer said.
EDF remains a supportive shareholder and strategic partner of the group, Palmer added.
EDF owns 53.2% of the U.K. company's issued share capital, according to FactSet.
