Trident Digital Tech Holdings (TDTH) said Wednesday it signed a collaboration agreement with the Democratic Republic of Congo to drive the country's digital transformation.
Under the collaboration, the company agreed to explore the development of a comprehensive electronic government system for the country, targeting to digitize the government's administrative framework using technologies like blockchain, according to the statement.
Trident said the agreement also establishes a framework for a definitive deal that will see the company developing and implementing a platform to manage Congolese citizens' digital identities and data.
No financial details were disclosed.
Shares of Trident Digital Tech were up 3.6% in recent trading.
