Vermilion Energy's German Wells Should Provide Clarity Next Year -- Market Talk

Dow Jones

1216 ET - Vermilion Energy's wells in Germany are showing promising signs, says TD Cowen's Menno Hulshof, who looks to mid-2025 for a better idea of their value. Vermilion successfully tested its second Germany well and increased its working interest to 64% from 30% "which indicates how it views the result." As more wells come online in the first half of 2025 and then 2026, Hulshof thinks the company will learn from its previous operations "and better manage the lumpiness of the production profile." By then, "we should have results for three Germany wells, offering further visibility on regional upside." (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
