Coronado Steel (ASX:CRN) is set to start mining activities at the Mammoth underground mine located in the Curragh mining complex in Queensland, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Coal cutting at Mammoth is scheduled for Dec. 19, officially opening the mine, the filing said.
The company's shares were up almost 4% in recent Thursday trade.
