North American Construction (NOA) said Wednesday its MacKellar Group unit received an early works and development contract by a major copper producer in Australia with an expected revenue generation of about $100 million.
The contract was awarded by an undisclosed new customer in New South Wales, the company said.
North American Construction said the project, which is scheduled to start in Q1 2025 and finish in Q2 2026, involves work at an operational mine and necessary equipment will be sourced from its existing fleet.
The company said that the award was considered in unsecured work in the outlook for 2025 and doesn't change estimated ranges.
Shares of the company rose 1.3% in recent after-hours activity.
