Strickland Metals Hits Gold at Serbian Project; Shares Rise 3%

Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) hit gold during a recent drill program at the Shanac deposit within the Rogozna gold and base metals project in Serbia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The program yielded up to 272.3 meters at 1.8 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 169.1 meters, including 40.9 meters at 4 g/t gold from 241.6 meters, the filing said.

Shares of Strickland Metals rose nearly 3% in recent Wednesday trade.
