Wildcat Resources Denies Media Speculation of Property Seizure, Investigation; Shares Slump 11%

Wildcat Resources (ASX:WC8) denied media speculation that it is under investigation by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) nor was any property owned by the mining firm seized by the regulator, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The response relates to an article published in the Australian Financial Review Wednesday, the filing said.

Wildcat Resources confirmed that the ASIC requested documents related to the company's trading in 2023, the filing said, adding that the company complied with the requests.

Company shares slumped almost 11% in recent Thursday trade.
