Black Cat Syndicate (ASX:BC8) completed the repayment of AU$9 million of convertible notes, including the accrued interest.
The gold producer exercised its right to repay the convertible notes after the conversion conditions remained unmet on Nov. 12, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The repayment simplifies the balance sheet and removes an ongoing interest cost while reducing potential dilution on the conversion of the convertible notes, said Managing Director Gareth Solly.
