Mary Chia (SGX:5OX) posted a profit attributable to equity holders of SG$1.3 million for its fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30, compared to an attributable loss of SG$214,000 a year ago.
The wellness spa brand's earnings per share stood at SG$0.0057, a turnaround from a loss per share of SG$0.0009 in the year-ago period.
Revenue surged 867% year over year to SG$14.5 million from SG$1.5 million, primarily due to increased revenue from direct selling services, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Thursday.
