Strata Skin Sciences (SSKN) said Monday that the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania has issued an order prohibiting certain details in the marketing or promotion of LaserOptek's Pallas lasers.
The company said the court order issued Friday bars LaserOptek and Pinnacle Health from stating or implying in any sale, advertising, marketing, or promotion of Pallas lasers in the US that treatments with Pallas laser are reimbursable. The court also prohibits LaserOptek and Pinnacle Health from including any false or misleading statements regarding the Pallas lasers or Strata's lasers, according to Strata.
Strata had sought a preliminary injunction against LaserOptek America, Monarch Aesthetic Services, and The Pinnacle Health Group, citing "unfair competition" under federal and state laws related to the marketing and sales of LaserOptek's Pallas lasers in the US.
LaserOptek, Monarch and Pinnacle Health did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
