Willas-Array Electronics (HKG:0854, SGX:BDR) expects a consolidated net loss of HK$62.1 million for the first half of fiscal year 2025, narrower than HK$95.3 million logged for the six months ended Sept. 30 last year, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The electronic components distributor and trader attributed the expected decrease in loss to an exchange loss from the depreciation of the Renminbi against Hong Kong dollars, certain net impairment reversals of certain trade receivables of the group, and a decrease in finance and staff costs during the reporting period.
