Willas-Array Electronics (SGX:BDR, HKG:0854) expects net loss in the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30 to shrink to about HK$62.1 million from HK$95.3 million in the year-ago period, according to a filing with the Singapore and Hong Kong bourses on Friday.
The company attributed the anticipated result to the depreciation of the yuan against Hong Kong dollars, lower level of bank borrowing, net impairment reversals and decrease in staff costs.
The company expects to publish its financial results in late November, according to the filing.
