Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) started the second phase of metallurgical test work for the Shanac deposit at its Rogozna project in Serbia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Bulk sample material from the deposit arrived at ALS laboratory in Western Australia for the test work, which follows a 2021 program that showed positive recoveries of 85.9% for gold and 81% for copper from standard flotation processes, the filing said.
The company also initiated sample selection for metallurgical test work at the Medenovac prospect, with samples expected to be dispatched from Serbia in the coming weeks, according to the filing.
