Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) hit thick mineralization from a recent drill program at the Medenovac prospect within the Rogozna gold and base metals project in Serbia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program yielded up to 43.4 meters at 4.6 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold equivalent from 357.2 meters within a larger envelope of 223 meters at 1.7 g/t gold equivalent from 179.6 meters, the miner said in the filing.
The company's shares closed up more than 15% Thursday.
